Finding ways to secure extra gas in a NATO style ?Jerry Can? can sometimes be difficult. Here at Motobilt we have been manufacturing a mount for a few years and decided to up the game a little with function, style and versatility. The mount is designed to fit both the Wavian USA and Harbor Freight NATO style 5 gallon gas can. With each kit we send provisions to set the mount up in different configurations based on your specific needs.
For the Wavian USA Jerry Can the top of the mount has provisions to hold their optional spout securely or a block off plate for those not wanting to use Wavian?s optional spout. If you have the newer style Harbor Freight NATO 5 gallon fuel can we ship a bracket that simply bolts in to press securely against the fuel cap. In both configurations the fuel cap can not be removed.
The Motobilt Jerry Can Mount features a lockable latch. The latch is adjustable to ensure you have a firm clamp on the Jerry Can. The Jerry Can Mount is constructed from heavy duty 11GA thick steel plate laser cut here in the USA at our manufacturing facility. The parts are formed on our press brakes to allow for the next feature. If you are in need of a dual can mount the Motobilt Jerry Can Mount is linkable. So, if you need 2,3 or more cans connected it can simple be done. See the assembly instructions for more details. The Jerry Can Mounts can be bolted together side by side, bottom to bottom or back to back allowing the installer to maximize space saving. This ability is a first of its kind in versatility.
The Motobilt Jerry Can Mounts are shipped base steel. You will need to paint to the color of your choice and assembly. All hardware needed to assemble the Jerry Can Mount is included in the kit. The lockable latch is included. This listing is for the mount only. You will have to supply the Wavian or Harbor Freight NATO Style Jerry Can. Hardware to attach the mount to an object is not included because we do not know the length bolts needed to fit the endless applications this mount can be utilized with.
